Genesis10 is currently seeking a Network/System Engineer with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Richmond, VA. This is a 12 month contract position.

Responsibilities:
- Work as an application support analyst primarily supporting LoanIQ application
- Proactively monitor and manage the production environment
- Responsible for Incident management and conducting proper problem follow-up
- Troubleshoot and resolve application problems including but not limited to job failures, feed management, monitoring, etc.
- Maintain/Create documentation of support policies and procedures
- Understanding of the business processes supported by the system
- Support application releases, implementations, upgrades, and/or changes into the environment
- Ensure continuity and quality by owning the resolution of issues across platforms
- Track progress and escalating as appropriate unless resolution reached
- Maintain a knowledge base of known defects and issues, process, techniques, etc.
- Take part in production support rotation, and responding and resolving production problems
- Support critical business initiatives such as application deployments (Pre Post activities), infrastructure changes, Industry-wide tests, or Disaster Recovery tests
- Build strong partnership with Development, Infrastructure and platform teams
- 5 years of experience in development or production support
- 5 years in following: Oracle Database, SQL Server Database, J2EE, UNIX, Windows, MQ, .Net, Mule
- 3 years hand-on experience with LoanIQ
- Ability to solve production down situations under tight SLA deadlines, including root cause and problem resolution follow-up
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, including the ability to organize time, work on multiple tasks, and follow tasks and projects through to completion, while keeping all interested parties properly updated
