Responsibilities:
- Responsible for designing and developing complex requirements to accomplish business goals
- Ensure that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements
- Ensure solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset
- Possess strong proficiency in development and testing practices common to the industry, and have extensive experience of using design and architectural patterns
- Contribute to story refinement/defining requirements
- Participate and guides team in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle
- Perform spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
- Code solutions and unit tests to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
- Utilize multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements
- Assist team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work
- Design/develop/modify architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained
- Designs/develops/maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance)
- Proficiency with web based/distributed application architecture, development tools and database products
- Experience in design, utilizing design and modeling tools
- Proficient in building high-quality, high-performance web applications
- Skilled in C#, ASP.NET MVC, WebAPI
- Experience in designing and building SOAP and REST APIs
- Skilled in SQL Server
- Experience with JavaScript, jQuery, XML and JSON
- Experience with Agile development methodology and working knowledge of Rally/CA Agile Central
- Good communication and analytical skills
- Experience in financial industry with exposure to wealth management
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to identify risks and resolve issues
- Deadline oriented
- Expertise in application integration across multiple platforms and RDBMS
- Knowledge of functional programming in an HTML5 environment
