Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the management of the full life cycle of activities to implement technology change
- Lead large complex consumer card initiative projects responsible for project design oversight, delivery and budget
- Work closely with business partners to define strategies for technical solutions, determine requirements, and develop functional designs based on the analysis of line of business needs, objectives and existing or newly proposed system infrastructure
- Coordinate with multiple application teams, testers, system architects and line of business partners to ensure requirements and functional designs are translated accurately into working technical designs and that test plans and scripts serve customer needs
- Communicate the solution intent and the associated operating environment, determines the primary systems/subsystems and their interfaces, defining functional requirements to support new epics/features
- Ensure the solution is fit for purpose and use by working with stakeholders, system architects, vendors, and service providers
- Clarify the solution architecture for the development teams to support implementation, and provides solution options to resolve any impediments
- Help drive defect resolution to ensure code is functioning as designed
- Orchestrate project scoping/estimates for new technologies and planned initiatives to enable stakeholders to determine best path forward while assisting with project prioritization and application capacity to support that work
- Educate team members on the technology practices, standardization strategies and best practices to create innovative solutions
- Produce detailed project plans and frequent project status updates
- Manage risk and ensures appropriate risk escalations occur
- Communicate issues or impediments to senior management
- Ensure adherence to enterprise standards, compliance and policies in effect
