Genesis10 is currently seeking a Product Owner with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 month contract position.

Responsibilities:
- Define and prioritize the team backlog to streamline the execution of program priorities, maintaining conceptual and technical integrity of the features or components for the team
- Work closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business priorities.
- Lead the planning of product release plans / PI planning, Sprint Planning and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities
- Provide an active role in mitigating dependencies of team which help successful completion of Release/Sprint Goals
- Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends
- Be accountable for adhering to enterprise standards for documentation in our software delivery tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
- 5 years of experience as a Product Owner in the security or banking domain
- Strong understanding of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
- UI/UX requirements gathering
- Demonstrated ability in writing user stories and managing backlogs
- Able to communicate with both business and technology partners effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to think outside the box
- Experience with agile methodologies, particularly Scrum
- Technical proficiency in using JIRA or other agile project management tools
- SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) certification
