Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Security Specialist with our client in the financial industry located in Richmond, VA, Chicago, IL, and Atlanta, GA. This is a 12 month contract position.

Responsibilities:
- Load Balancing and DDI (DNS, DHCP, and IPAM)
- In alignment to the current and approved Network Services Standards, Incident and Problem Management Policies Procedures, governance and management policies
- Interface directly with internal stakeholders and external suppliers/providers, architecture, product engineering, product management, and business management, and various levels of senior management
- Considered a subject matter expert in their field and is expected to stay current with various technologies, organizational goals, and industry trends to drive end to end value
- Experience in Network Operations Center
- 2 years' work experience with DNS, DHCP,QIP, BIND, HTTP, and TCP/IP
- 1 years' work experience with BlueCat, Infoblox, or VitalQIP
- 1 years' work experience working with Linux
- Well versed in numerous networking protocols, technologies and troubleshooting methodology, including the use of proactive and reactive tools
- 2 years of in-depth hands on troubleshooting experience within the Security Core Technologies, including low level design and engineering
- Knowledge of troubleshooting using Sniffers, TCP Dump, Splunk and Wireshark
- Functional understanding of networked applications requiring application traffic management solutions, including HTTP, HTTPS, SSH, FTP, DNS, NTP, ANYCAST services, and others
- SDN and Automation understanding
- Experience with ITSM Remedy
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter (must be able to work on their own and successfully in team settings in various sizes and locations)
- Adherence and use of standards, product sets, templates, systems, and artifacts
