Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist in delivering exceptional patient care in various medical settings, including medical-surgical units, home community care, infectious disease care, Level II Trauma Center, Behavioral health, ICU, and Level I Trauma Center.
Duties:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses
- Assist patients with activities of daily living
- Monitor and report changes in patient health status
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and comfort
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems like Cerner
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
Skills:
- Experience in medical-surgical care and home community care is preferred
- Familiarity with Cerner or other electronic health record systems
- Knowledge of infectious disease care protocols
- Ability to work in Level II Trauma Center and Level I Trauma Center environments
- Understanding of Behavioral health practices
- Experience in ICU settings is a plus
