*pay :$45/hr *
*note: One (1) year of experience in administration of medications, experience in an inpatient setting.*
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate care to patients and support healthcare professionals in various medical settings.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Assist in medical procedures such as sterile processing and tube feeding
- Document patient information accurately in medical records
- Provide care for patients across different age groups, including pediatrics and geriatrics
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
- Educate patients and their families on health management and treatment plans
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid LPN license in the state Alaska of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Experience or willingness to learn about sterile processing, emergency medicine, laboratory procedures, and medical documentation
- Familiarity with tube feeding, dermal fillers, and pediatric care is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
