Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide quality nursing care to patients in various settings, ensuring their well-being and comfort.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and provide appropriate treatments
- Administer medications and assist with medical procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Monitor and report patient symptoms or changes in health status
- Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Provide primary care, including toddler care, in accordance with established protocols
- Perform phlebotomy and other basic medical procedures
Requirements:
- Valid LPN license in the state of practice
- Proficiency in basic life support techniques
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Experience in medical office settings and familiarity with electronic health records
- Ability to phlebotomize and interpret ICD-10 codes
- Prior experience in ICU or acute care settings is a plus
