Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care and possess a strong background in various medical settings.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist with medical procedures such as sterile processing, tube feeding, and dermal fillers.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Provide education to patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
Requirements:
- Valid LPN license in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience in emergency medicine, laboratory settings, or pediatric care is a plus.
- Knowledge of sterile processing techniques.
- Ability to travel for assignments if required.
- Familiarity with handling medical emergencies in settings like the ER.
- Proficiency in tube feeding procedures for patients in need.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
