Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate nursing care to patients in various medical settings.
Duties:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any deviations from normal
- Assist with patient assessments and collaborate with the healthcare team
- Provide direct patient care in areas such as primary care, hospice care, pediatrics, and long-term care
- Perform IV insertions and manage intravenous therapy
- Maintain accurate medical documentation using electronic health record systems like Cerner
- Administer injections and immunizations following established protocols
- Offer support and education to patients and their families
Skills:
- Proficient in primary care, hospice care, pediatrics, and long-term care practices
- Experience with IV insertion and intravenous therapy management
- Skilled in medical documentation using electronic health records like Cerner
- Ability to administer injections and immunizations accurately
- Familiarity with emergency room procedures is a plus
