The Director of Indirect Sales will lead and orchestrate sales operations within the insurance
organization , aiming to achieve targeted profitability and sales volumes. This pivotal role involves extensive travel to cultivate a high-performing, results-oriented sales culture.
Responsibilities:
Supervise field sales activities, including strategy formulation, market research, competitive
analysis, and annual planning and budgeting.
• Manage and evaluate departmental performance and sales strategies to ensure alignment with
organizational goals.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders for field sales support, including vendor negotiations,
participation in state and industry conferences, and trade shows.
• Lead both internal and external field sales presentations to drive engagement and achieve sales targets.
• Ensure the Sales Team delivers timely quotes and competitive insights to the Product
Management department.
• Collaborate with the IT Department to maintain and enhance sales systems for optimal
functionality.
Skills & Competencies
• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Risk Management and/or Insurance or business
• 10 years of sales related experience, preferably in multiple markets and/or distribution channels.
• Ability to travel domestically 25%-50% of the time.
• Bi-lingual (English & Spanish) preferred and ability to interact comfortably with individuals of all origins.
