About GenScript ProBio
GenScript ProBio is the subsidiary of GenScript Biotech Corporation, proactively providing end-to-end CDMO service from drug discovery to commercialization with proactive strategies, professional solutions and efficient processes in cell and gene therapy (CGT), vaccine, biologics discovery and antibody protein drug to accelerate drug development for customers. GenScript ProBio's total cell and gene therapy solution covers CMC of plasmid and virus for IND filing as well as clinical manufacturing and commercial manufacturing. Job Description
- Plan both short- and long-term to align supply and demand to support inventory needs
- act as the liaison between internal stakeholders (Manufacturing, Demand Planning, Procurement) and suppliers to review purchase forecasts, proposed orders, and other operational issues.
- monitor monthly, quarterly, and campaigned Purchase production plans, prioritizing work orders, monitor for delays, take proactive measures
- manage regular and daily supplier operational matters: provide information for supplier reviews, maintain supplier information in SAP & handle invoice discrepancies
- Collaborate with diverse logistics and warehouse/receiving personal to resolve issues and discrepancies
- drive process improvement and support efficiency improvement activities
Qualification
- General understanding on Source-to-Pay process (budgeting, purchase requisitions, purchase orders)
- Ability to use data to support decisions, evaluating suppliers' performance, searching for opportunities for cost saving, strategic souring/supplier relationship management
- BS / BA with a concentration in Business, Supply Chain/ Manufacturing or related degree preferred
- 3 - 5 years' experience in Supply Chain, Procurement or Buyer
- Understanding of ERPs (SAP) data structure, MRP process and data flows
- Critical thinking & negotiating skills
- Full time office presence
