Job Title: Senior Production Assembly Technician
Location: Huntsville, AL
Duration: 6 Months
Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Production Assembly Technician to join our team. In this non-managerial and non-leadership role, you will be responsible for performing complex production assembly operations and inspections on electronic/electrical and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies. This role requires regular and predictable attendance, and you will work under minimal supervision to ensure the highest quality in our products.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform complex production assembly operations and inspections on electronic/electrical and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
Conduct rework, repair, and modification to parts and assemblies.
Present statistical data to the team for analysis and problem resolution.
Provide periodic maintenance on machines and tooling, and perform complex machine setup tasks following machine inspection checklists.
Coordinate with managers and other departments to manage workflow and resolve issues.
Assemble and deliver kits.
Perform simple receiving and inspection procedures on incoming materials.
Document inspection results in accordance with applicable procedures.
Coordinate with management and other departments to establish work priorities.
Update work status documentation regularly.
Required Skills:
Proficient in using hand tools, soldering tools, hot air pencils, pliers, sockets, etc.
Ability to utilize engineering drawings for complex assemblies.
Capable of following written work instructions precisely.
Operate computing equipment to access job information (e.g., drawings, specifications, and other online information systems).
Skilled in using various types of precision measuring tools.
Comfortable working around chemicals (alcohol, solder, flux).
Education / Experience:
Basic education (e.g., High School diploma/GED).
Typically 7 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., vocational school/Associate degree 5 years' related work experience, Bachelor’s degree 2 years' related work experience, etc.).

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
