Job Title: Data Coordinator, Catalog Operations

As a Data Coordinator, Catalog Operations, you will play a vital role in our Catalog Operations team by managing large-scale data operations, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our product catalog metadata, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively across multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Reporting:
• Build and maintain operational and analytical reports using existing and ad-hoc tools.
• Develop insightful data visualizations and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Data Analysis:
• Perform quality checks and correctness/completeness analysis on data output.
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies with cross-functional teams.
• Catalog Management:
• Process and verify daily and large-scale metadata update and correction requests.
• Maintain accuracy and completeness of the product catalog.
• Handle catalog updates and issue management, ensuring timely responses.
• Interdepartmental Content Liaison:
• Harmonize product-related business needs from various teams.
• Keep stakeholders informed of key issues and proactively troubleshoot conflicts.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to align on catalog-related priorities.

You are adaptable, a strong communicator, and a team player. You have a passion for technology and media, specifically spoken word audio. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working with numerous stakeholders to deliver accurate results.

Basic Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in editorial/publishing, preferably web-based.
• BA/BS or equivalent degree.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and other Office software.
• Familiarity with querying databases and assembling reports.
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Experience with ticketing systems and process documentation (e.g., in a wiki).
• Experience with systems such as JIRA, Airtable, CMS, Tableau.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience querying using SQL.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with audio and image formats and standards.
• Demonstrated experience as a team lead or supervisor.
• Familiarity with standard XML metadata exchange formats like ONIX or RSS.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
