Job Description :
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Caregiver / Companion to provide full-time care for a client with intellectual disabilities, cerebral palsy, schizoaffective disorder, seizures, and verbal aggression.
Responsibilities :
- Assist with cooking and cleaning
- Help with toileting, bathing, dressing, and brushing teeth
- Assist with feeding
- Perform shopping and run errands
- Help with transfers using a Hoyer lift and manual wheelchair
- Accompany the client to church and community activities
- Engage in crafts and other recreational activities
Requirements :
- Previous experience as a caregiver
- Proficient in using a Hoyer lift and performing transfers
- Ability to use a manual wheelchair
- Ability to handle verbal aggression professionally
