Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Data Analytics Project Manager to lead complex data analytics projects from inception through to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in data analytics, proven project management skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally with various teams. This role requires a deep understanding of data systems, analytics tools, and methodologies, alongside excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management:
• Lead and manage end-to-end data analytics projects, ensuring timely delivery, within scope and budget.
• Develop project plans, define project scope, and establish milestones.
• Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders, including business units, data scientists, and IT teams, to gather requirements and ensure alignment.
• Technical Expertise:
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of data analytics solutions.
• Utilize technical expertise to provide guidance on data architecture, database management, and analytics tools.
• Ensure data quality, data governance, and data security standards are maintained.
• Team Leadership:
• Lead a team of data analysts, data engineers, and other technical staff, providing mentorship and fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Facilitate training and development programs for team members to enhance their technical and project management skills.
• Stakeholder Management:
• Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates, managing expectations, and addressing any issues or concerns.
• Collaborate with senior management to align analytics initiatives with organizational goals and strategies.
• Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
• Develop and implement metrics and dashboards to track project progress and performance.
• Analyze project outcomes to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for executive leadership, highlighting key findings and project impacts.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Experience:
• 7 years of experience in data analytics, with at least 3 years in a project management or leadership role.
• Proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional data analytics projects.
• Experience in a variety of data analytics tools and technologies (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
• Skills:
• Strong technical skills in data analysis, data modeling, and data visualization.
• Excellent project management skills, including familiarity with methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
• Must have managed data analytics projects
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant certification.
• Experience in industries such as finance, healthcare, or technology.
• Knowledge of machine learning and advanced analytics techniques.
