Summary

Our client is a locally owned and operated General Contractor with a diverse portfolio of building and infrastructure projects across North Jersey. As the backlog grows, the team is looking to add a motivated Estimator / APM to the team.

This person will work closely with leadership team to win projects and assist on assigned project teams to assure each is delivered on-time and under budget while maintaining their exceptional safety record. This is an exciting opportunity to quickly grow while being involved with projects from winning the bid through project completion.

Responsibilities

• Develop project bids and estimates
• Gather subcontractor pricing and information while vetting
• Assist lead Project Manager with scheduling, budgeting, and completion of assigned activities
• Gather and maintain project documentation
• Prepare project schedule and manage deadlines while preparing reports as needed
• Assist with project delivery
• Effectively communicate project progress to key stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent
• 3 years' of relevant experience, Ground up building Construciton a plus
• Proficiency in Project Management software
• Strong organizational skills
