Our client, a real estate firm, is looking for a Sr. Accountant to work out of their Boca Raton office.
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the full corporate accounting cycle, including monitoring and reconciling bank accounts, making deposits, preparing wires, and recording financial activities.
- Prepare and upload journal entries, ensure accurate monthly consolidations, and prepare detailed workpapers, including financial statement support schedules.
- Understand and manage complex expense allocations between company subsidiaries, review invoice coding for corporate expenditures, and maintain real-time cash balances for forecasting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field required.
- 5 years of accounting experience (public, private, or both)
- CPA preferred
- Advanced Excel skills required
