Product Analyst / Business Analyst
Location: Boston, MA(Hybrid)
Job Overview
Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Analyst / Business Analyst to join our
fast-paced and high growth silicon-valley based high growth company. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of product development processes, experience in the healthcare industry, and a knack for working collaboratively across various functions within the organization. This role requires the ability to gather and analyze requirements, communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, and thrive in an agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization, including product management, engineering, design, and clinician teams to gather and translate high-level requirements into detailed specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria, ensuring clear communication across development teams.
- Facilitate and participate in grooming sessions and daily stand ups to ensure alignment and collaboration among engineering and QA; Identify and address any blockers, confirming that all team members have a clear understanding of the product objectives and deliverables for
functional and technical requirements.
- Participate in user testing, A/B testing, and validation efforts to ensure products meet quality, usability, and performance standards. Work closely with QA and engineers to identify issues and optimize the product based on testing results.
- Work closely with product managers to prioritize stories and maintain a regularly groomed backlog based on business needs and customer feedback.
- Utilize JIRA and Atlassian tools to track progress, manage tasks, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify industry trends and opportunities for product improvement.
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency and proactivity in addressing issues, escalating risks, and driving resolutions to meet project deadlines.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Healthcare, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in product analysis or related roles, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Strong understanding of agile methodology and experience working in cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and designers.
- Ability to engage with globally distributed software development and data science teams to make informed technical decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proactive mindset with a passion for driving continuous improvement and delivering exceptional results.
Highly Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with electronic health record (EHR) systems or healthcare IT solutions.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulatory requirements and standards (e.g., HIPAA, HL7).
- Experiencing working with Generative AI and/or Predictive AI.
- Proficient in database technologies and applications of AI to large healthcare data sets.
Location & Travel
- Driving distance to Palo Alto or Boston preferred as it will be a hybrid work environment.
