Mission for Executive Assistant

To work on tasks and projects as determined by the CEO with attention to detail and confidentiality. The EA will schedule both professional and personal meetings in a timely and efficient manner. This role requires professionalism, flexibility, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. The EA will be a self-starter and demonstrate quick problem-solving abilities. The mission of the EA is to KEEP THE CEO ON SCHEDULE AND TO HELP ALIGN DAILY TASKS WITH STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES OF THE FIRM.

Efficiency - An EA needs to be efficient in all jobs while multi-tasking at the same time.
Honesty/ Integrity - An EA represents the CEO both in and outside of the office. It’s imperative that they maintain high ethical standards.
Organization and planning - An EA plans, organizes, schedules, and budgets in an efficient, productive manner. Focusing on key priorities.
Intelligence- An EA must learn quickly by demonstrating how to think critically and absorb new information.
Proactivity- An EA must act without being told what to do. She must anticipate problems and plan for successful outcomes.
Calmness under pressure- An EA must maintain a level of stability under pressure or changing demands. They must roll with the punches.
High standards- Since an EA is working closely with the CEO, they must demonstrate high standards in the work tasks that are being completed.
Communication- An EA should speak and write clearly and articulately in all forms of written language.
Flexibility- An EA needs to adjust quickly to changing priorities and conditions.
Teamwork- An EA needs to be able to seek assistance from co-workers and cooperate with all members of the team.
Openness to criticism- An EA needs to be able to solicit feedback and react calmly to criticism or negative feedback.
