Job Functions:

• Review bills of materials for new products or projects. Obtain costs, resources, and lead time of said items.
• Create spread sheets of items with price and availability that will be utilized to formulate quotations.
• Create bills of material in ERP data base along with all relevant information for items. i.e., min/max levels.
• Purchase materials to support customer requirements of new projects as well as established products when requested.
• Process all controlled documents utilizing established procedures.
• Aid the Engineering team in the product development process. This may include organizing meetings, documenting design reviews, and other tasks as necessary
• Collaborate and coordinate with current purchasing staff. This may include standing in for each other during times of absence.

Required Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of manufacturing materials
• High School diploma
• Minimum of 5 years of procurement, supply chain, sourcing, or materials management experience.
• Experience with ERP systems
• Strong math and strategic thinking skills required
• Experience working in an ISO 9001 or AS9100 company.

Additional Qualifications:

• Must be proficient with Microsoft office programs.
• Experience with Purchasing software is helpful.
• This position may expand and/or change as the Engineering team grows so flexibility and willingness to learn is essential.

• Constantly assessing accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned
• Occasionally working in a noisy environment
• Occasionally doing light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds
