Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Refining and redesigning equipment to fit niche applications.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems and components.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on related components.
- Understanding of PLC's.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams.
- Read and interpret machine control software.
- Analyze and implement changes to resolve problems with cameras, scanners and electronic equipment.
- Assist in installing new equipment.
Qualifications/Attributes:
- Organized
- Strong communication
- Able to multitask
- Highly motivated
- Team oriented
- High Mechanical Comprehension
- 2-5 years of experience in an automated, high precision product manufacturing environment.
- Mechanical knowledge.
- Ability to work with programmable logic controllers.
- Computer: Excel, Word proficiency.
- Some programming skills in visual basic or equivalent.
