Job DescriptionGeorge Sink Injury Lawyers is looking for a Medical Record - Billing Specialist to work closely with the legal team. As the Medical Record - Billing Specialist, you are key to moving clients' cases from negotiations to final settlements with the Attorney.You will be responsible for performing all financial processing related to case management within the settlement phase of a personal injury case, such as verification of all amounts or fees related to the case, coordinating reductions from medical providers, ensuring accurate and timely payment to all agencies, and for preparing the settlement disbursements to the client.

Requirements:
- Negotiation / reduction of liens with providers and third-party payers at the resolution of injured party's claim.
- Preparing client disbursements.
- Compiling and tabulating all associated client costs, medical bills, and fees.
- Verifying existence of all outstanding liens and costs.
- Preparing disbursement spreadsheet showing breakdown of attorney's fees, costs, and client's medical bills and total recovery.
- Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
- Associates Degree
- Previous experience with medical records
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to communicate in a concise and effective manner using tact, courtesy, sensitivity, and confidentiality
- Ability to understand and follow instructions precisely with accuracy and attention to detail
