Georgetown University is Hiring a Student Worker Manager, OSEI Fellow Near Washington, DC

RequirementsThe Office of Student Equity & Inclusion (OSEI) will oversee the Disability Cultural Center, the Women's Center, the LGBTQ Resource Center the Community Scholars Program and the Center for Multicultural Equity and Access. The Student Worker Manager will oversee and delegate work for OSEI Student Staff with program and event support. They will lead student staff with clerical, marketing, program and event planning. Collaborating closely with staff in the LGBTQ Resource Center, The Women’s Center, and the Center for Multicultural Equity and Access, additional duties include but are not limited to:
  • Support the implementation of new/current Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives.
  • Draft and design OSEI-related communications, including but not limited to emails, newsletters, and social media.
  • Support the new student orientation efforts this coming summer, helping to gather and organize metrics for measuring the program's successes.
  • Support any other ad-hoc projects that are needed to drive a DEI culture at Georgetown University.
  • Help support our programs with logistics (scheduling, making orders, prepping spaces, outreach, and communications on social media).
  • Help support our programs administratively, bringing a fresh perspective on how to approach different events and services we provide to our students.
  • Provide additional support in the office during the summertime when employees take time off.
Requirements And Qualifications
  • Office Manager experience (Entry Level)
  • Leadership and delegation experience
  • Experience with working programs and events
