Job Overview
The MAC-WIHS Combined Cohort Study (MWCCS) is an observational, longitudinal research study of women and men with HIV. The study is designed to understand and reduce the impact of chronic health conditions that affect people with HIV.
The Undergraduate Student Research Assistant - in a temporary role - will assist with study activities and support faculty and the study Principal Investigator with administrative task in preparation of the MWCCS Study NIH grant resubmission.
They will also assist with developing study related documents, performing literature searches, and/or data entry.
Work Interactions
Reporting to study Principal Investigator, Dr. Seble G. Kassaye and study Co-Investigator, Dr. Amanda B. Spence, the Undergraduate Student Research Assistant will be directly engaged with study research faculty, staff, and possibly study participants, who will also assist faculty with preliminary statistical analysis of study collected data.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Current Undergraduate Student (non-Georgetown)
  • Excellent time management, communication (verbal and written)
  • Organizational skills
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel, and Google Suites
