DCH is currently seeking one (1) Accountant 4 position for the MMIS/Federal Reporting section of the Office of Financial Services. This is a hybrid position that requires in-office and remote work with the approval of your supervisor. Your days of frequency in the office can change at any time during your employment based on the business needs of the organization.
Job Responsibilities
Under limited supervision performs and/or oversees the development, implementation, and monitoring of accounting activity. Analyzes financial information and programs, makes recommendations to management, and prepares a full range of financial reports, including specialized or non-specialized reports. May also serve in a lead role.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting and three (3) years of professional accounting job-related experience; or Two (2) years of experience at the lower level Accountant 3 (FIP022) or equivalent position.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preference will be given to candidates, who in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications listed below possess the following: Previous work in governmental accounting or working with federal grants. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables), Teams, and basic knowledge of Microsoft Access.
