Our client in Holyoke, Massachusetts is in need of a locum psychiatric nurse practitioner with experience in Geriatric Psychiatry to provide full time coverage at their inpatient facility. This is an ongoing need and site can get provider started as soon as credentialed (30-45 days for full credential). This facility has a need for a permanent provider, so the site is open to a locum to perm option. Further contract details below!

• Position: Nurse Practitioner - Geriatric Psychiatry
• Position Type: Contract, 1099, Locum, Locum to Perm Option Available, Full Time
• Pay: $100/hr
• Facility: Behavioral Health Hospital, Geriatric Inpatient Unit
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 hours daily, No Call, No After Hours or Weekend Duties at this time
• Caseload/Duties: Caseload of up to 12 geriatric patients; duties include completing admissions; discharges and daily notes on caseload; participating in treatment team, family meetings and/or agency meetings as necessary; full time/onsite position; all inpatient units are lockdown units

• Active Massachusetts Nurse Practitioner License
• 2 years experience as an NP in psychiatry with more than half in Geriatric Psych
• BLS Certification
• Familiarity with Massachusetts Mental Health regulations is a plus
• Psych Certification Required
