Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Prepare and submit clean claims to third party payers electronically and by paper Maintain relationships with clearinghouses.
Coordinate patient eligibility through various third-party channels.
Identify and solve patient billing issues.
Issue adjusted, corrected, and/or billed claims to third party payers.
Maintain coding is compliant and current.
Secure patient information and maintains patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records, keeping patient information confidential.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (knowledge, Skills, And Abilities)Associates degree preferred
Pain Management/Greenway Experience PreferredMinimum two (2) years’ experience working in an ambulatory clinic/medical office setting
Possess an ability to function in a high stress, physically demanding setting Knowledge of healthcare regulations and preventative measures (HIPAA confidentiality, infection spread, etc.)
Exemplary customer service experience including client relationships and job knowledge
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to exercise manual dexterity
Ability to be empathetic with patients; ability to maintain confidentiality
Capable of making timely, independent decisions
Able to juggle many responsibilities in a fast-paced environment independently and in a team environment
