Job Summary:
Exciting new opportunity to start and to join an innovative, community-based behavioral health and intellectual/developmental disabilities services organization located in South Georgia. Georgia Pines Community Service Board is a public, not-for-profit organization with an annual budget of $25M and a diverse workforce of 300 direct-care and support staff. Georgia Pines Mental Health Inpatient is currently seeking a real leader, someone who has the passion, commitment, talent, and ability to work collaboratively with their peers to continue to advance the mission and vision of the organization.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Assures that community health care services are adequate, appropriate, and accessible
Develop long and short-term goals for the health agency and participates in the agency's strategic and operational planning
Interviews, directs, trains, evaluates the performance of, and when necessary, disciplines employees
Maintains awareness of advances in medicine, data processing technology, and government regulations
Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of services and programs
Oversees the planning, development, scheduling, and implementation of the program
Participates in the development and administration of budgets
Performs community assessments and develops policies and plans based on data collection, activity reports, planning documents, program plans and objectives
Plans and organizes program structure and policies to meet organizational and programmatic objectives
Plans, organizes, and directs the work of the unit(s) to provide continuous active treatment to the individuals served
Set priorities and implements goals and objectives to meet guidelines

This position is an integral part of the agency's Mental Health Inpatient and reports directly to the Mental Health Inpatient Program Director with the appropriate latitude for utilizing seasoned judgment to accomplish his/her responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in a related area from an accredited college or university AND licensed as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT AND Two years of supervised managerial experience in the area of assignment.
