Job Summary: Under general supervision, this position will be the main contact for health and wellness programs at the College, as well as, administrative support to the Dean of Students.
Support student complaint and discipline processes; chair the Behavior Intervention Team, assist with maintaining case files, record and transcribe hearings, and adjudicate academic discipline cases | 30% |
Develop, plan, market, implement, and monitor college-wide awareness program including, but not limited to: drug and alcohol, sexual assault, and healthy behaviors activities | 15% |
Develop, plan, market, implement, and monitor health and wellness student engagement program; lead innovative, dynamic and collaborative college efforts | 20% |
Collaborate with Student Life Program Assistant to develop creative program materials and branding; Survey and measure success of programs and initiatives | 10% |
Chair employee Wellness Works committee and activities | 10% |
Serve as College’s safety plan coordinator and student insurance claims facilitator | 10% |
Other duties as assigned | 5% |

Minimum Qualifications:
·Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university *and* two (2) years of related work.
·Note: Experience may substitute for the degree on year-for-year basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
·Degree or coursework in Counseling or Psychology
·Professional health credential
·Basic level of knowledge with infection disease and exposure control
·Experience working with health and wellness initiatives
·Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
·Knowledge of FERPA regulations
·Experience with student discipline
·Post-secondary work experience
·Public speaking experience
·Good oral and written communication skills
·Skill in interpersonal relations and in dealing with the public
·Skill in the operation of computers and job-related software programs like Banner, Canva, and Microsoft Office 365
Supervisory Responsibility
Has oversight over Federal Work Study students for Fitness Centers and contracted individuals providing services and/or classes.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment, routinely uses standard office equipment and technologies, and requires business attire and professionalism.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 25 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. This position occasionally requires longer hours and some weekend work.
Travel
Travel to other campus locations is required. Some overnight travel may be required.
