The Director role leads all aspects of GTC's financial operations including the annual budgeting process, 10-year financial forecast (approved annually), treasury operations, financial aspects of the Integrated Transmission System Agreement, Dedicated Cost of Service process, and patronage capital. Manages all aspects of GTC's patronage capital allocations and communications. Provides guidance for the corporation's overall financing plan, investor and banking relations, and day-to-day management of cash operations.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: BA/BS
Experience: Ten years in an area of responsibility in electric utility Finance or related area with a Bachelors Degree.
Equivalent Experience: Eight years of experience in an area of responsibility in Finance or a related field, with an advanced degree, license, or certification.
Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations: MBA, CPA, CFA, or CTP preferred.
Specialized Skills: Leadership, presentation, and interpersonal skills; experienced in rates and rate-making policies (including FERC and other regulatory authorities); understanding of financial modeling and budgeting; proficient PC skills with treasury workstation experience a plus; works independently / self-driven; able to teach others and assist them in their development; excellent PC/Excel/PowerPoint skills; financial, analytical and accounting skills; a strategic thinker and customer focused.
