Georgia Transmission Corporation is Hiring an O & M Scheduling Engineer (E-III/E-VI) Near Tucker, GA

Works closely with Project Managers, Area Coordinators, Construction Inspectors, and Project Control Specialists to develop, coordinate, and/or combine scopes of work for O&M activities to maximize productivity during scheduled clearances. Review open conditions and work orders in Maximo to identify opportunities to coordinate or combine with other associated construction or maintenance activities. Communicates with the GTC Planning department, GSOC Control Center, Southern Company, as well as other ITS members to properly schedule future activities. A general knowledge of Transmission Line Maintenance, Electronic Maintenance, Relay Maintenance, and Substation Maintenance processes and procedures is required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.

Experience:
(E-III and E-IV) Three years of experience in high-voltage electric utility.(E-V) Eight years (six years with a PE) of experience in high-voltage electric utility.(E-VI) Ten years (eight years with a PE) of experience in high-voltage electric utility.

Equivalent Experience:
(E-III and E-IV) Associate Degree in Engineering Technology and nine years in a high-voltage electric utility environment.(E-V) Associate Degree in Engineering Technology and twelve years in a high-voltage electric utility environment.(E-VI) Associate Degree in Engineering Technology and fourteen years in a high-voltage electric utility environment.

Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations: PE preferred but not required.

Specialized Skills (e.g., typing, computers, software, tools and equipment uses, etc.): Read and interpret specifications, safety practices, and operating procedures. PC skills including E-mail, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. IBM Maximo experience is a plus.

Must be able to pass a NERC CIP personnel risk assessment screening.
