Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide services based on the physical, psychosocial, educational, safety, and other related criteria appropriate population in his/her assigned area
Maintains required core competencies.
Compliance with set Policies and Procedures (i.e. name tag, dress code, parking, smoking, etc.)
Must always be courteous and professional in contact with patients, visitors, employees, and medical staff.
Manage the day-to-day business office operations and billing practices.
Provide supervisors and staff with the guidance and support to sustain effective business functions within physician practice clinic locations.
Support each employed physician with effective tools to promote enhanced business operations and reimbursement.
Provide timely and effective correspondence.
Directly support the Controller in the following areas:
Insurance transmission/HICFA printing
Financial documentation
Revenue and expense management
Deposits and close
Month-end reporting
Payroll support
Supply ordering
Time management
Coordination of priority items
Experience
Required
2 year(s): Supervisory/management experience of at least three (3) staff persons is required.
3 - 5 years: Medical billing, business office practice, and accounts receivable experience is required.
