**Job Overview:** We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical records, patient services, and administrative support within a healthcare setting. **Responsibilities:** - Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner - Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel - Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits - Maintain electronic medical records using systems like Epic - Verify insurance coverage and process payments - Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality - Assist with administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the front desk **Experience:** - Previous experience as a medical receptionist, dental receptionist, or in a medical office setting - Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures - Proficiency in administrative tasks and computer skills - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations for handling patient information - Excellent communication and customer service skills This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment where you can utilize your skills in patient service and administrative support.
