Seeking high-energy individual to assist in growing eye care practice. Desire strong people skills and technical ability. Duties related to assisting with eyecare include assisting with patient care including pre-testing patients, performing diagnositic testing such as visual field testing, OCT/retinal imaging, intraocular pressure measurement, checking visual acuity, and teaching patients how to use contact lenses.. Administrative duties includes answering and making phone calls, ordering contact lenses, faxing patient care letters to other providers, and maintaining the contact lens inventory, checking patients in and out, schedule management and recall, and verifying vision/medical insurance plans. Cross training on front desk and optometric assistant roles is required. Reliability, friendliness, and a deisre to learn are the keys to success in this position. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
