Responsibilities
- Compile, customize, edit, and format all proposal deliverables. Ability to create compelling RFP responses and presentations that are tailored to each opportunity.
- General overall proposal response management.
- Ensure compliance with the RFP requirements, prepare written responses, develop and maintain the required outline of the RFP and ensure timely submission.
- Identify all graphic design needs and engage appropriate design resources in a timely manner. Ability to create and/or work with a design resource to create product collateral, standard RFP templates and PowerPoint decks.
- Organize and lead kick-off meetings/calls/reviews, determine response requirements, assign responsibilities to cross-functional partners and/or team members.
- Develop key messaging voice and tone of proposal and presentation deliverables. Create and maintain accurate and persuasive content to be used in RFP documents.
- Provide writing templates to guide proposal contributors.
- Schedule regular check-ins with proposal contributors to discuss content being written and the content desired.
- Develop content and help manage ongoing content library.
- Conduct proposal and presentation quality assurance/quality control.
- Support Proposal and Marketing Manager with a variety of other proposal-related tasks.
- Coordinate with manager of the automated proposal tool to ensure inventory of RFP responses, key company facts and graphics are updated on an ongoing basis.
- Bachelor's Degree (Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design or related field preferred).
- Minimum of two years of experience responding to RFPs with experience managing the proposal process from start to finish.
- Experience customizing PowerPoint decks and using master slides.
- Comfortable using Adobe CC design software (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) to create or edit custom graphics.
- Competency with desktop publishing skills using Microsoft Word. Familiarity with Excel and Sharepoint a plus.
- A strong sense of organization and time/deadline management with strict attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills and an extraordinary customer service ethic.
- Exceptional writing skills and grammatical accuracy.
- Independent, self-starter and motivated by a fast-paced and highly dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated flexibility to manage multiple tasks, solve problems, and schedule work effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
- Proven ability to develop relationships and thrives working as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically. Takes initiative to innovate and solve problems. Enjoys and thrives with helping create the overall theme and look and feel of the proposal/presentation deliverables.
- Experience using Teams for virtual meetings/conference calls.
- Salesforce proficiency a plus.
- Flexibility to occasionally work evenings and/or weekends to meet proposal deadlines. This sometimes requires flexible work hours due to the location of internal clients across the country.
