JOB SUMMARY

This job description is to ensure proper registration of all outgoing (production) material in Gestamp ERP (SAP & AS400), verification and correct identification of material with (SAP & AS400) material labels and the match of Gestamp invoice to shipment of material.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Understand and comply with all OSHA, safety and PPE requirements;

2. Check requirements in customer ship plan, AS400 (Honda EDI), and emails for any specific instructions. (IPP, Clean Points, Prototypes, etc) – If short on requirements, escalate to the CSR for a decision.

3. Processing and/or assist with preparation of shipments in order based on the shipping windows provided by the logistics team. (SAP picking list, accurate labeling, scanning process, commercial invoice, manual BOL)

4. Transmits ASN upon departure from facility and ensures that the transmission was successful.

5. Send copy of completed paperwork to corresponding Customer Service Rep. (SAP BOL, AS400 BOL, ASN Confirmation, and Commercial Invoice.

6. Ensures that the shipments have all been posted in SAP, and that the customer ship plan has been updated.

7. Filing and maintaining of BOL records after each shipment.

8. Finished Goods FIFO control.

9. Daily 5S and work area organization

10. Support team functions by:

a. Cross-training with others

b. Backfills other materials positions as needed – Material Handling (Forklift), Drop Zone, Removal Of Labels, Unloading Return Trailers, Loading Trailers, Moving Racks.

c. Working weekends as needed.

d. Problem solving

e. Supporting material metrics and meets materials needs.

11. Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

1. High school diploma or GED

2. 3 years previous shipping experience

3. Understanding of computer application relating to inventory control: SAP

4. Fork Lift Experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1.00 - $2.00 per hour
