QualificationsEducation:
Associate's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; OR
2 years of relevant work experience

ResponsibilitiesJob Summary:
The Accounting Clerk Foundation is responsible for processing financial contributions in compliance with IRS, GAAP, and AHP standards. This role involves gift processing, reporting, and maintaining financial records, including generating tax receipts and gift acknowledgements. The successful candidate will demonstrate initiative, teamwork, and attention to detail.
Perform accurate data entry of gifts, ensuring completeness and accuracy of donor financial records.
Research and resolve discrepancies and deficiencies in financial records.
Develop queries and reports related to donor activity and revenue, including demographic and analytical reports.
Prepare gift correspondence, establish and coordinate different gift receipt letters and tax receipts.
Create and update donor records, accurately recording gift designations and relevant codes.
Assist with sorting daily mail and other accounting functions as assigned.
Attend Foundation meetings and committees as requested.
