Position SummaryJoin our team as a caring and dedicated Virtual Medical Assistant, also known as a CareCoach, to support our patient engagement efforts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate empathy towards patients, assist in their care plans, and provide guidance on maintaining a healthy lifestyle. This role involves encouraging patients to monitor their vital signs and manage their conditions effectively. We value candidates who are familiar with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and possess a genuine passion for care delivery, coupled with an interest in AI technology. Fluency in Arabic or Spanish is highly desirable.
Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Support and Empathy:
Provide compassionate and patient-centered care to individuals with chronic conditions.
Assist in implementing and reinforcing care plans developed by healthcare providers.
Foster strong patient relationships through regular communication and follow-ups.
Healthy Lifestyle CoachingEducate patients on making healthy lifestyle choices, including diet, exercise, and medication adherence.
Offer personalized coaching to support patients in achieving their health goals.
Provide education on specific conditions to promote better self-management.
Vital Monitoring EncouragementGuide patients in utilizing vital monitoring tools such as blood pressure monitors, pulse oximeters, and glucose monitors.
Assist patients in understanding and tracking their vital signs for effective health management.
Care CoordinationCoordinate patient care across various providers and services to ensure comprehensive and continuous care.
Facilitate communication between patients, families, and healthcare providers to address patient needs and preferences.
EMR ProficiencyEfficiently navigate various EMR systems, including EPIC, eClinicalWorks, and Practice Fusion.
Accurately document patient interactions and care plans in EMR systems.
Passion For Care Delivery And AI TechnologyDemonstrate enthusiasm for delivering high-quality care and improving patient outcomes.
Show interest in the integration of AI technology in healthcare and its potential to enhance care delivery.
QualificationsCertified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required.
Experience in chronic care management and patient education.
Proficiency in using EMR systems such as EPIC, eCW, Practice Fusion.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Bilingual proficiency in Arabic or Spanish strongly preferred.
