Get It Recruit - Administrative is Hiring an Executive Assistant to Co-Founders | Project Management & Operations Specialist Near New York, NY

DescriptionWe are seeking an Executive Assistant to support our Co-Founders and ensure smooth operations for our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing productivity and efficiency by managing calendars, creating and refining systems, and assisting with various projects. You will also provide essential administrative support to our team, reporting directly to our Director of People & Operations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Optimize the effectiveness of our Co-Founders and team by managing calendars and representing the team to stakeholders via email, remote communication, and in-person as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to build and prioritize action item systems for the Co-Founders.
  • Coordinate and manage logistics for travel, conferences, meetings, and other events.
  • Draft emails, memos, and communications on behalf of the Co-Founders.
  • Prepare and manage expense reports and reimbursements for the team.
  • Oversee remote office management, including maintaining technological and shared resources.
Qualities and CharacteristicsMinimum RequirementsWe're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment with high expectations for quality and speed. The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A Bachelor's Degree with 2-3 years of experience in executive assistance, project management, or related fields.
  • Proficiency with Google and Microsoft Office Suites, Canva, and familiarity with AI tools.
  • Experience in organizing, planning, and executing team projects or events.
  • Excellent written communication skills and a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and handle a demanding environment with a strategic mindset.
  • A proactive approach to asking questions and addressing feedback.
  • A collaborative spirit with a readiness to tackle any task, big or small.
  • Passion for social justice and a commitment to our mission of ensuring every child has access to quality education.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in education policy or issue advocacy.
  • Background in nonprofits or startups is a plus.
  • Fluency in Spanish, both oral and written.
