Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.
Maintain precise and up-to-date records of customer information.
Act as a patient advocate, managing the exchange of complex and sensitive information with care.
Utilize multiple monitors for data entry while maintaining professional phone etiquette and adherence to guidelines.
Support team members with daily paperwork and assist in resolving and documenting patient issues.
Identify potential financial, medical, and legal risks during interactions, following appropriate procedures.
Use various systems to meet customer needs, including scheduling appointments, handling authorizations, claims, invoices, eligibility, benefits, and appeals.
Convert oral information into clear and accurate written documentation based on established guidelines.
Meet set performance goals in customer satisfaction, accuracy, quality, and attendance.
Adhere to departmental standards for metrics with daily evaluations.
Qualifications
Strong experience in customer service and data entry.
Familiarity with documentation processes and procedures.
Experience in training and policy development.
Capability to schedule appointments and manage invoicing tasks.
Commitment to high-quality standards in work.
Knowledge of workstation support and internet usage.
Understanding of medical coverage policies.
Excellent phone presence and ability to perform benefit-related functions.
Experience in handling paperwork and performing ad hoc financial tasks.
Familiarity with claim administration procedures.
Proficiency in both English and Spanish is highly desirable.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Consistent and reliable attendance.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with interviewing processes.
Familiarity with HealthCare.gov is a plus.
A clean background with no criminal record is required.
