The King County Wastewater Treatment Division (WTD) seeks a Human Resource Talent Coordinator to join our dynamic Human Resources team! As a key member of the Talent Acquisition team, you will support recruiting processes and assist with various HR projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute significantly to WTD's growth by implementing innovative HR strategies. Job DutiesWhat You Will Be Doing:
Utilize PeopleSoft, NEOGOV, Word, Excel, and Teams for recruiting activities and projects; assist in maintaining personnel and HR records, including Laserfiche administration.
Support HR process creation and data tracking.
Assist in recruiting activities such as candidate outreach, scheduling, material coordination, and recruitment events, serving as a backup for HR Analyst Recruiters.
Aid in new employee pre-employment processing and onboarding.
Contribute to various HR/recruiting special projects.
Experience, Qualifications, Knowledge, SkillsQualifications You Bring:
Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams.
Progressive experience in customer service, human resources, or administrative support.
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems or customer relationship management systems.
Experience in data entry and basic data analysis.
Experience engaging with the public or diverse constituencies.

Supplemental InformationWorking Conditions:
This position allows for remote work from home, with onsite requirements up to once a week at various King County worksites, including the King Street Center in Seattle. This arrangement promotes work-life balance and supports our vision of environmental sustainability.
RequirementCandidates must reside in Washington State and be within a reasonable distance to King County worksites to meet onsite reporting needs.
Work ScheduleThis position is non-exempt from overtime provisions and is overtime eligible under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
Union RepresentationCovered by the Teamsters Local 117 Professional & Technical and Administrative Support collective bargaining agreement.
DurationThis recruitment aims to fill a Special Duty Assignment (SDA) / Term-Limited Temporary (TLT) position with an anticipated duration of six months to one year.
