Join our dynamic team in a pivotal role as a Human Resource Generalist, where you'll help shape the heart of our employee experience. Your contributions will ensure efficient and empathetic HR support across our portfolio of hotels, encompassing diverse HR functions such as employee relations, engagement, onboarding, payroll support, benefits, compliance, and administration.

ResponsibilitiesEmployee Relations: Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, addressing concerns with immediacy and professionalism to foster a fair and supportive workplace.
Employee Engagement: Spearhead initiatives to celebrate and recognize employee achievements, manage regular satisfaction surveys, and organize engagement activities to nurture a positive working environment.
Onboarding/Offboarding: Manage all facets of the employee lifecycle from recruitment to exit, ensuring a smooth and welcoming introduction to the company as well as a respectful closure.
Payroll Support: Oversee accurate payroll processing and serve as the go-to person for all payroll-related queries, ensuring employees feel supported with their compensation concerns.
Benefits Management: Guide employees through the benefits landscape, helping them understand their options and the processes involved in enrollments and changes.
Compliance and Safety: Coordinate workers' compensation claims, conduct safety training, and maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations to ensure a safe and equitable workplace.
HR Administration: Collaborate in the continual updating of HR policies and manage critical HR documentation to support organizational efficiency and legal compliance.
QualificationsProximity to Dallas metro area required for occasional on-site duties.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, or relevant certification preferred.
Minimum of three years of HR experience, ideally within the hospitality sector.
Proficient in HR principles, payroll processes, and HRIS software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual abilities in Spanish preferred.
HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is advantageous.
Must be at least 21 years old.
