Position OverviewWe are looking for detail-oriented Licensed Property & Casualty Customer Service Representatives who have a solid understanding of personal and/or commercial insurance. The ideal candidate will excel in recognizing customer needs and providing exceptional service. As a valued member of our expanding team, you'll have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment and contribute to the success of our agency partners.
ResponsibilitiesAnswering customer inquiries and assisting with payment and billing questions, including online payments.
Handling policy change requests via phone or email from customers and third parties, and implementing changes online.
Reviewing policy coverages and issuing certificates of insurance and evidence of insurance or binders.
Conducting general phone and email correspondence with customers regarding renewals, cancellations, and insurance carrier requests.
QualificationsMinimum of 3 years' experience in property and casualty insurance; Property and Casualty License required.
Experience in either personal or commercial lines, with experience in both considered a plus.
Proficiency in Massachusetts Auto and Registry a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook.
Strong Data Entry Skills And Website Navigation Abilities.Ability to adapt to varying customer personalities and situations.
Eagerness to work in a collaborative, fast-paced, team environment.
Patience, empathy, and professionalism.
Effective time management skills.
