As a Senior SaaS Procurement Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the software landscape of our organization. This remote position offers the opportunity to work closely with our legal and technical teams, ensuring that our software solutions are not only robust but also cost-effective and scalable. Your expertise will guide the procurement of Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions, directly impacting our operational excellence.
Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough research to pinpoint SaaS solutions that align with the unique needs of various organizational departments.
Engage with department leaders and key stakeholders to gather detailed software requirements and establish procurement priorities.
Assess potential SaaS vendors on a range of critical factors, including functionality, cost-efficiency, scalability, and dependability.
Lead the negotiation process with vendors to secure advantageous contract terms and pricing, ensuring the best interests of the organization are maintained.
Oversee the entire procurement process from vendor evaluation through to contract execution and software implementation.
Monitor ongoing contract performance and maintain healthy vendor relationships to ensure adherence to agreed terms and service levels.
Remain up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes particularly relevant to AI and SaaS environments.
Required Skills And QualificationsProven background in procurement or vendor management, with a preference for experience in SaaS environments.
