Role OverviewAdjunct faculty at our university play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional instruction and engaging students within a Christian environment. These part-time positions are offered on a semester-by-semester basis, contingent upon student enrollment.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide clear and engaging instruction in Data Science courses.
Foster active participation and meaningful engagement among students.
Maintain accessibility and promptly respond to student inquiries and university communications.
Conduct weekly office hours to support students and address their questions.
Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback on assignments.
Collaborate closely with lead faculty members to ensure program objectives are met.
Adhere to university policies and procedures outlined in the Faculty Handbook.
Required Skills And QualificationsStrong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, both oral and written.
Proficiency in using online Learning Management Systems (e.g., Blackboard or Canvas), standard office software, and mobile applications.
Expertise in Statistics, Python Programming, R Programming, Data Science, Data Mining, and Deep Learning.
Doctoral or Ph.D. degree from a regionally accredited institution.
Minimum of 18 graduate semester credit hours in Data Science.
At least three years of experience in online teaching at the university level.
Preferred certifications in Data Science from recognized providers like IBM, Microsoft, or Google.
Must be located in and eligible to work in the United States.
