Role OverviewYou will provide personalized one-on-one instruction to students. Key responsibilities include:
Maintaining professional and timely communication, students, and clients.
Assessing students' understanding and tailoring lesson plans to meet their individual needs and learning styles.
Delivering clear and engaging instruction, monitoring progress, and providing constructive feedback.
Collaborating with parents, teachers, and stakeholders to ensure student success.
Managing your schedule efficiently to accommodate students' needs and maintain a positive learning environment.
Ideal CandidateWe are seeking individuals who are passionate about guiding students towards their educational goals. The ideal candidate should demonstrate:
Strong initiative and resourcefulness in delivering effective tutoring.
Flexibility in explaining concepts to ensure student comprehension.
Proficiency with technology necessary for successful tutoring sessions.
Ability to engage and connect with students, inspiring a love for learning.
Patience and empathy towards students' learning challenges.
Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree (required)
USA-based bank account & valid U.S. Social Security Number (required)
3 years of professional tutoring experience (required)
1 years of professional online tutoring experience (required)
Reliable internet connection, computer/laptop, headphones, and a stylus/pen (Wacom recommended)
Strong subject matter expertise in designated teaching areas
Excellent communication and time management skills
Compensation$25 per hour
Time CommitmentThis is a freelance position starting at approximately 10 hours per week, including availability on nights and weekends. Preferred availability is Monday-Thursday, between 3 PM - 10 PM Eastern Time, aligning with peak student demand hours.
Communication ExpectationsTutors are expected to check email regularly (every 2-4 hours) and maintain professional communication administrative team and clients.
