About Us: We are a dedicated team committed to providing early learning providers, children, and families with compassionate and comprehensive therapeutic services through an infant early childhood mental health (IECMH) approach. Our goal is to foster relational health and support the overall well-being of children and families.
Job DescriptionAs a Child and Family Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting early childhood education and assistance programs (ECEAP/Head Start and Early ECEAP/Early HS), children, and families by nurturing healthy relationships and environments. Your responsibilities will include providing a range of services such as consultation, training, coaching, assessments, and referrals, both in-person and virtually. Collaboration with our Mentor Teacher and multidisciplinary teams is key to your success in this role.
Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with caregivers to assess strengths, needs, and dosing of services for children
Maintain positive relationships with families and early learning providers
Conduct observations and assessments to identify individual child and family needs
Provide written and oral feedback to classrooms and families
Develop and implement Individual Care Plans (ICPs) in collaboration with families and classroom teams
Deliver reflective practice and therapeutic services in classroom and home settings
Conduct developmental, behavioral, and social-emotional screenings and assessments
Conduct home visits to support the behavioral health needs of families and children
Collaborate with colleagues to address program needs and promote cultural humility
Participate in professional development and training opportunities
RequirementsBachelor's or Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience with young children and families
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Home VisitingEndorsement by the Washington Association of Infant Mental Health (WA-AIMH) or willingness to complete the process
Experience working with immigrant and marginalized communities
Cleared background check through the Washington
Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto liability insurance
Preferred QualificationsBilingual in English/Spanish highly desired
Specialized clinical training in infant early childhood mental health
Experience providing reflective supervision/consultation for individuals and groups
Salary Range And BenefitsSalary range: $52,362 - $72,205 (Starting range: $52,362 - $57,323 DOE)
10 days of vacation leave per year, three Employee Appreciation Days, and one sick day per month (pro-rated for part-time employees)
15 paid holidays throughout the calendar year
