The Clinical Resource Registered Nurse (CRRN) plays a vital role in providing educational instruction and intervention in clinical and lab settings. Responsibilities also include holding regular office hours, advising students, recruitment, and participating in assigned committees.
QualificationsInstructor Rank
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
  • License: Must hold an active, unencumbered RN license in the State of Montana.
  • Experience: Two years of clinical nursing experience as an RN within the last five years.
  • Additional Requirements: Must meet employment requirements of clinical affiliates.
Assistant Professor Rank
  • Education: Master's or Doctorate (PhD or DNP) in nursing.
  • License: Ability to obtain an unencumbered RN license in the State of Montana by August 15, 2024.
  • Experience: Two years of clinical nursing practice as an RN within the last five years.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Educational instruction in clinical/lab settings, curriculum development, and outcome assessment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Instructor Rank: A master's or doctorate degree in nursing, nursing education experience, or specialty certification in nursing.
  • Assistant Professor Rank: Collegiate teaching experience, scholarly activity, or specialty certification in nursing.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to chaperone student field trips.
  • Willingness to work extended hours during peak periods.
