Clinical Trial Educators play a vital role in collaborating with research staff and various stakeholders to drive trial recruitment and support study-specific training needs. You will act as a strategic partner to both external and internal stakeholders, optimizing the site experience and performance. You will lead relationship management and communication of medical and scientific information with healthcare providers, patients, and caregivers.
Essential FunctionsStudy-Specific Action Plans: Work with research sites to develop and implement action plans that accelerate patient recruitment and support study-specific procedure training.
Healthcare Professional Education: Provide education to healthcare professionals and their staff, reinforcing study protocols as related to clinical trials.
Patient Interaction: In some roles, directly interact with patients to offer education on the trial, disease, and/or device/medication.
Referral Network Partnerships: Partner with referral networks to identify potential subjects for trials.
Customer Record Management: Maintain and analyze customer records to customize strategies that maximize patient pre-screening, screening, and enrollment in trials.
Reporting and Event Organization: Complete internal electronic reporting systems and organize group events to optimize program delivery.
Objection Management: Successfully manage objections raised during various phases of the trial process.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensure organization equipment is maintained safely and in good repair.
Technical Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of relevant specialty and disease areas.
QualificationsEducational Background: Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in Health Sciences or a related field, or equivalent academic/professional qualifications.
Professional Credentials: Registered Nurse or other Healthcare Professional qualifications are required.
Experience: Typically requires 1-2 years of relevant prior experience.
Clinical Competence: Demonstrate clinical competence in relevant therapeutic areas.
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
Task Execution: Ability to execute tasks with minimal oversight.
Coordination Skills: Ability to coordinate and complete activities across multiple functions.
Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly understand situations and apply a solutions-based approach to resolving problems.

Compensation And BenefitsThe potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $74,900.00 - $124,800.00. Actual base pay offered may vary based on job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience, as well as location and schedule (full or part-time).
Additional compensation in the form of incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered.
